  1. Before applying online, candidates are requested to ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria for the post as on the date of eligibility.
  2. The process of Registration is complete only when fee is deposited with the Bank through Online mode on or before the last date for payment of fee.
  3. Candidates are advised to check Bank’s website https://bank.sbi/web/careers/current-openings regularly for details and updates. No separate intimation will be issued in case of any
    change/ update. All Changes/Updates/ Corrigendum will be hosted only on Bank’s website https://bank.sbi/web/careers/current-openings.
    Eligible candidates, who aspire to join State Bank of India as an Officer, are required to register on-line after carefully reading the advertisement regarding the selection process, eligibility criteria,
    online registration processes, payment of prescribed application fee, issuance of call letters, process & pattern of examination/ interview etc. and ensure that they fulfil the stipulated criteria and
    follow the prescribed processes.
    Eligible candidates are required to register on-line for the recruitment process which will be held in phases viz.
    (i) Online Examination
    (ii) Screening and
    (iii) Interview.
  1. ELIGIBLITY CRITERIA:
    (A) Essential Academic Qualifications:
    Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification
    recognised as such by the Central Government including Integrated Dual Degree (IDD).
    Candidates possessing qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant,
    Cost Accountant would also be eligible.
    Note: The date of passing eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the mark sheet or
    provisional certificate issued by the University/ Institute. In case the result of a particular
    examination is posted on the website of the University/ Institute, a certificate issued by the
    appropriate authority of the University/ Institute indicating the date on which the result was posted
    on the website will be taken as the date of passing

Age Limit: (As on 31.10.2023):
Not below 21 years and Not above 30 years as on 31.10.2023 i.e. candidates must have been born not later than 31.10.2002 and not earlier than 01.11.1993 (both days inclusive).

(C) Experience (Post Essential Academic Qualification) as on 31.10.2023:
Minimum 2 years’ experience (Post Essential Academic Qualification Experience) as on
31.10.2023 as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or any Regional Rural Bank as
listed in Second Schedule of Reserve Bank of India. Candidates shall have to submit job profile certified by their existing/ previous employer(s) with whom they are/were employed. In case their job profile does not match substantially or is different than the job profile of a Scale-I Generalist officer of
State Bank of India then the application of such candidates will be summarily rejected
at any stage of the recruitment process. Decision of the Bank in this regard would be
final and binding on all candidates. No representation or correspondence will be
entertained by the Bank in this regard.


(D) Local Language:
The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular Circle, should be proficient (reading,
writing and understanding) in any one of the specified opted local language of that Circle
(mentioned against each Circle). The test of knowledge of specified opted local language of
the applied circle will be conducted as a part of selection process. It will be conducted for
provisionally selected candidates (based on performance in online test, Screening and
interview) before joining the Bank. Candidate who fails to qualify this test will not be offered
appointment. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate
evidencing having studied the specified opted local language of the applied circle as one of
the subjects will not be required to undergo the language test.

EMOLUMENTS:
Presently, the starting basic pay is 36,000/- in the scale of 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I plus 2 advance increments (For work experience of 2 years or more in officer cadre in any Scheduled Commercial Bank/Regional Rural Bank). The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.

HOW TO APPLY:
Candidates can apply online only from 22.11.2023 to 12.12.2023. No other mode of
application will be accepted.
Pre-requisites for Applying Online: Candidates should have valid email ID and mobile no.
which should be kept active till the declaration of final results. It will be essentially required for
receiving any communication/ call letters/ advices from the bank by email/ SMS.
